Thank you for your comment and guilt is something we see more and more and, sadly, many times it is a local family caregiver.

Thank you David for your very insightful comments. It is clear to me that you have a personal identification with what Herbie and his family are going through. We see this very same situation many times in the families that we serve. Emotions run the gamut from self-pity, guilt, anger, frustration to lonliness and depression. Many times marital bonds are stretched to the breaking point. We can provide respite care allowing the family to get away for a week end or so. Many times we are called to provide care for a few hours a week on a regular basis. This gives the family caregiver a sense of self and they always come back to their loved one with renewed emotional and physical strength. We love doing what we do and feel totally blessed by our clients.

I would love to take credit for the production of the trailer that you saw but that goes to the film-makers/family who are mentioned at the top of the text.

You caught a good look at family caregiving. The sense of "What now" is on everyone's face.

The only thing you can say to the family caregiver is don't look at the clock. Real time loses meaning. The only time is 'Grandpa Time.' And the family has to see it.

So familiar, yet...
